EMR Serverless Now Available from AWS
Amazon EMR, which ostensibly is the world’s most popular hosted Hadoop environment, is now generally available as a serverless offering, AWS announced today. Amazon EMR Serverless will save customers time and money in several different ways, according to AWS.
Azure Active Directory logs are lagging, alerts may be wrong or missing
Microsoft has warned users that Azure Active Directory isn't currently producing reliable sign-in logs. "Customers using Azure Active Directory and other downstream impacted services may experience a significant delay in availability of logging data for resources," the Azure status page explains.
Google bans deepfake-generating AI from Colab
Google has banned the training of AI systems that can be used to generate deepfakes on its Google Colaboratory platform. The updated terms of use, spotted over the weekend by BleepingComputer, includes eepfakes-related work in the list of disallowed projects.
