AWS is relaunching DeepRacer League
AWS has launched DeepRacer League, a service that was launched in 2018 to provide developers with ML skills, and which was built even by AWS ever since. DeepRacer will be delivered in two ways: Open League - which will be available to everyone, and Pro - for the few with the most sharpened skills (ten percent). The blogger Marcia Villalba, wrote on AWS’s website: "When learning RL using AWS DeepRacer, you can take part in the AWS DeepRacer League where you get experience with machine learning in a fun and competitive environment”.
GCP offers a cyber insurance program, teams-up with two companies
as part of the collaboration with the two global insurance companies Allianz and Munich Re, a new insurance program will be offered by GCP, in which cyber-related risks will be covered. The first customer-type GCP aspires to is companies with annual revenue of $500M-$5B. The insurance will cover up the loss of up to $50M. Thomas Kang, Head of North American Cyber, Tech and Media at Allianz’s AGCS unit, has said: “This is extremely key. This is data that we as insurance carriers traditionally have not had access to.”
Microsoft has launched Azure Percept
Microsoft has stepped one step further to bring its AI services to the edge, when recently launched Azure Percept - a software & hardware platform which combines the cloud tools of Azure for managing devices, and creates AI models (using hardware from Microsoft’s device partners). Microsoft aspires to make it easier for businesses to build and implement AI, specifically on actions like anomaly detections, object detection, etc. The solution is an end-to-end solution, leading the customer from the AI building to the deployment stage.
