AWS announced the general availability of Amazon Route 53 Application Recovery Controller, an additional new set of capabilities in Amazon Route 53. With the capabilities, it will be easier for customers to continuously monitor their applications’ ability to recover from failures and control their recovery across AWS Regions, Availability Zones, and on-premises infrastructure.

Google Introduces Unattended Project Recommender to Cut Cloud Costs
Google introduced unattended project recommender, a new feature of Active Assist that provides customers with a one-stop shop for discovering, reclaiming, and shutting down unattended projects. In addition, the feature includes actionable and automatic recommendations to reduce costs or mitigate security risks presented by idle resources.
