Amazon launched a 3D online role-paying game today where players move through a virtual city helping people solve real-world technology issues and cloud use cases, with goal of building Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud skills and preparation for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam.
Azure Stack Edge Pro 2 Commercially Released by Microsoft
The commercial release of Azure Stack Edge Pro 2 has hit "general availability" this week. Azure Stage Edge Pro 2 is an "AI-enabled edge computing device offered as a service from Microsoft," according to an "Overview" document description.
Google Cloud will raise prices on some storage and data services
Google Cloud put customers on notice Monday that a series of price hikes for its infrastructure services will take effect Oct. 1. The cloud provider is adding new data replication fees and network egress charges and, in some cases — for coldline storage operations, for example — is doubling its prices.
