The startup Humus was founded in 2019 and aspires to provide an end-to-end solution for decreasing the logistics complexity in the Indian agriculture market processes, with a platform which will connect farmers and retailers, without middlemen. The startup has recently closed a funding round led by Venture Catalysts, 9Unicorns, Accelerator Fund and We Founder’s Circle, at an unknown valuation.
An Israeli-Russian collaboration is aspiring to prevent food-waste
The supermarket chain Perekrestok, a Russian food retailer, has collaborated with the Israeli startup Evigence Sensors. which was one out of the four winners of the X5 Innovation project in Israel, 2019. Perekrestok, therefore, has the exclusive right to use Evigence Sensors in Russia. Perekrestok will use freshness special sensors, a fact that will have an impact on more than 300 products will be sent to more than 460 branches in middle-Russia.
