Valuation of $10.4B: eToro has announced SPAC merger

eToro, an Israeli startup that developed a sales platform, has announced the merging with FinTech Acquisition Corp. V, a SPAC (special purpose acquisition company), which is led by the senior businessman Betsy Cohen. The valuation of the company is now $10.4B. eToro has 20M registered users from all across the globe, from which 5M registered in 2020. The market value of FinTech Acquisition Corp. V is $366M. 

Iron Man is down for it: the toilet paper startup which is backed by Robert Downey, Jr

The toilet startup Cloud Paper is now suggesting pre-order of its toilet paper boxes, made of bamboo. The startup was founded in Seattle by ex-employees of Uber, who try to make customers use bamboo-based products. Cloud Paper is already invested by a few famous billionaires, including Robert Downey, Jr and Mark Cuban.

Airplanes are so old-fashioned: meet the new ecological startup in the game

Atlas LTA company develops blimps, from which tourists will be able to observe sites from above, and in an eco-friendly way. The airships will be gas-powered balloons based on advanced technology, and will not leave any carbon footprint. The company was founded by Gennadiy Verba, who was born in Ukraine and moved to Israel after he found the company there with partners, because of his attraction to the Innovational spirit of the Israeli startup ecosystem.
